THE SCIENCE BEHIND AURO'S WORKOUTS: POST-WORKOUT AFTERBURN

EPOC, also known as Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption, refers to the elevation in metabolism (rate that calories are burned) after an exercise session ends. If you work your body at the right intensity, your body will work harder to recover the oxygen lost during the exercise and will still burn calories after your workout session!

HEART RATE ZONES

Auro's HIIT workouts have been designed to put you in the Orange Zone (90% effort) for at least 20% of your workout (E.g. 6 minutes + in a 30-minute session). 

This means you will continue to burn calories even after your session, and you don't need to spend hours and hours in the gym.

AURO'S TECHNOLOGY

Auro's interactive technology delivers your heart rate data and performance metrics in real-time. From the moment you pair your device, your workout metrics are shown on screen. 

We track Heart Rate (HR), HR Utilization (HR %), HR Zones, Calories and Auro Points.
